Conor O’Brien, Ph.D.

Conor is a Senior Engineer in the Process Development team at GentiBio. He received his B.S. from the University of Washington and Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in Chemical Engineering where he focused on understanding mammalian cell metabolism through computational modeling and optimization. Before joining GentiBio, Conor worked at Juno Therapeutics/BMS within process development and had the opportunity to serve as process development lead for multiple programs, write a computer program to automate portions of data analysis and perform process modeling, help shape the strategy for the next generation cell therapy platform, and later lead a group within process development. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and two goldendoodles, taking hikes, learning new cooking skills, woodworking, and playing board games.
